Michael J. Crowley, Founder and Executive Chairman

Mike Crowley is a seasoned entrepreneur with 15 years of startup success. He has successfully led the early stage positioning and financing for firms in a diverse set of industries including consumer entertainment, software, and medical devices. As a founder or co-founder in all of his business ventures, Mike has also worked closely with numerous other ventures from concept to financing. Mike played his collegiate basketball at St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN, and graduated in 1993 with a B.B.A in Accounting. Mike later earned his MBA from the University of Michigan. He began his professional career as a C.P.A. specializing in early stage and entrepreneurial clients.

Mark D. Shary, CEO, Co-Founder

Mark is a founder and investor in high-growth, technology-based companies, including HUBLink, which became the global leader in hospital systems connectivity and is now a division of Lawson Software. Mark originally merged HUBLink with Healthcare.com, where he served as CFO and SVP of Product Planning, managing profitable revenue growth to more than $50 million. He’s also a founder at Updox, a leading medical records exchange platform and at SafeWhite, a bioscience cosmetics company. Mark also serves on the boards of MBA Focus, Bostech Corp, Intellinetics, and the Huntington Mutual Funds.

At Ernst & Young, Mark was an executive in the national banking group and led an advisory service for professional athletes. He also co-founded a non-profit organization that for nearly 20 years has annually restored 20-30 homes owned by indigent seniors in Central Ohio. And, he has served as interim CEO of three software companies, successfully guiding each through transition stages.

Mark is a CPA, and an honors graduate from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business.

Ray Shealy, President

Ray Shealy was selected by American Venture Magazine as one of the top “40 Under Forty” executives in the US in 2007.  Recently as the Founder and CEO of Margaux Ventures, Ray helped high growth technology companies with formation, funding and strategy.  Prior to that Ray served as the GM at McKesson’s RelayHealth unit after they acquired HTP Inc., an Inc. 500 and Healthcare Informatics Top 100 IT company, in 2008 where Ray served as President and CEO.  Previously, Ray co-founded or led two technology companies that became market leaders and were successfully acquired by Daimler AG and IBM respectively.

Ray currently serves on the boards of Intellinetics, HealthcareDataWorks, e-Cycle, InfoMotion Sports Technologies and TechColumbus.   Ray also has served on the Board of the Ohio Dyslexia Association and Columbus CityYear charities.  Ray is an active runner, snow skier and coach for youth basketball and soccer.   He is a CPA and a graduate of Ohio State University.

Kevin King, Director of Advanced Technologies

Kevin King holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining InfoMotion, Kevin spent nearly eight years at the University of Michigan developing nearly all aspects of InfoMotion’s core technology. He is one of the world’s foremost experts on applying MEMS inertial sensors to the measurement of sports motion, and he leads or is involved with all of the most advanced technology development that powers IST products. Kevin leads the engineering efforts at the Company’s facilities in Dublin, OH. Kevin earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University.

Tarek Kamil, Executive Director, Online Strategies

Tarek Kamil most recently served as a VP of Interactive Games for Los Angeles-based FOX Sports. He oversaw all facets of the online gaming operations for the FoxSports.com Interactive Unit, including WhatIfSports.com based in Cincinnati. WhatIfSports.com was founded by Mr. Kamil in February, 2000 and sold to FOX Interactive Media in September, 2005. Prior to leading the Interactive Games unit for FOX Sports, Mr. Kamil served as President/Founder of WhatIfSports.com, the Internet’s leader in sports simulation technology that grew to over 500,000 subscribers and partnered with some of the largest names in sports, including ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB, NBA and the NHL. In February of 2005, WhatIfSports was named Sports Site of the Year by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Science. Tarek is a graduate of both the University of Dayton (1990) and the Xavier School of Business (1997) and was named as a finalist for the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
